Our client, a leading company in the Energy Sector, specializing in design and development, with a strong presence in the Greek market is seeking a result-oriented and versatile, Mechanical Engineer in the department of piping studies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare piping system designs in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards (ASME, ANSI, etc.).
- Create isometric and general arrangement piping drawings.
- Coordination with other engineering disciplines to align designs.
- Apply 3D modeling software (SP3D, CadWorx, AutoCAD Plant 3D) for the development of piping models.
- Verification of piping routes to avoid overlaps and meet maintenance and safety requirements.
- Participation in on-site surveys and measurements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design.
- Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) by the application submission deadline or upon commencement of employment (applicable only to the applicants who are eligible for registration with TEE).
- Proficient in written and spoken English (CAE or equivalent).
Desired Qualifications:
- Professional experience in piping designs for Refineries, Storage and Transportation facilities for petroleum products, and/or Thermal Power Generation plants will be considered as an asset.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Κnowledge of AUTOCAD design (2D and 3D), 3D design platforms, including CadWorx, Plant 3D, and Smart Plant 3D.
