We are seeking a motivated Junior Engineer with up to 3 years of experience who is eager to grow within a technically flourishing environment. The successful candidate will work on defense projects, contributing to analyses, studies, and calculations while working closely with senior members of the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to defense projects, prioritizing use of systems modelling tools such as Enterprise Architect (or equivalent UML/SysML tools).
- supporting engineering analyses and design activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to study the strength and behaviour of structures/components.
- Assist in stability calculations and studies, evaluating results and documenting findings.
- Operate and apply specialised FEA- stability software as part of daily engineering tasks.
- Prepare technical reports, calculation notes, and supporting documentation.
- Support the team in modelling and data analysis activities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering.
- Up to 3 years of professional experience (including internships or thesis work in a relevant field).
- Understanding of systems modelling tools such as Enterprise Architect (or equivalent UML/SysML tools).
- Programming or scripting skills (e.g. Python) for automating calculations.
- Knowledge of 2d -3d design software
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Fulfilled military obligations (only for male candidates)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge or Familiarity with a ship’s stability software
- Demonstrated knowledge or familiarity with FEA software
