We are looking for a Hydraulics Engineer to join our innovative and fast-growing company. The position requires self motivation and aspiration to further develop in a technology driven company that operates in the offshore industry. The candidate will assist in the design, implementation and testing of high-pressure hydraulic systems, for the Group’s bespoke and novel equipment. Furthermore, the candidate will also assist in the installation, troubleshooting and repairing of mechanical and high-pressure hydraulics assemblies and systems. Work includes production, engineering setups, installations, testing and repair. Qualified candidates will be keen to develop troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Work includes traveling to employer sites (domestically and globally) as required to implement projects/repairs
The role involves:
- Participating in the manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of hydraulic systems and components for underwater excavation equipment.
- Supporting the testing and troubleshooting of high-pressure hydraulic assemblies and identifying faults during operation.
- Operating and maintaining subsea excavation tools during offshore missions to ensure safe and efficient trenching of the seabed, protecting sensitive infrastructure.
- Working closely with engineers and other technicians on-site to deliver high-quality technical results.
- Following procedures, technical manuals, and safety protocols.
- Assist in the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of high-pressure hydraulic piping, components, and systems using appropriate tools.
- Ensure that installation and operation conform to specifications and technical drawings.
- Support operational readiness by performing pre-deployment checks and routine maintenance.
- Learn and apply testing methods to verify system and component performance.

Requirements
- Student Or Degree in mechanical and/or hydraulics engineering
- Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical or hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with high-pressure hydraulic tools, assemblies, and subsea applications is highly desirable.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in field environments.
- Good communication skills in both Greek and English.
- Knowledge of 2D/3D design software will be considered an asset but is not required
