Job Purpose
Key Accountabilities
- Create and manage factory layouts as well as design general layouts of existing and future production lines
- Study, design, and develop technical solutions for mechanical equipment and steel structures, including 3D modeling and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Make design modifications or improvements on development or maintenance projects
- Generate hand sketches
- Participate as team member, work effectively in a team environment
- Write reports and present results to managers
- Ensure compliance with the industry’s safety standards
- Maintain accurate records
Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (4-year degree)
- Expertise in mechanical design
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Advanced skills using MS Office
- Strong expertise in AutoCAD (2D) & Autodesk Inventor (3D)
- Expertise in dimensional tolerancing, GD&T, and precision measurements
- Very good knowledge of machine elements design & calculations
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to details
