Our client, a leading company in the Energy Sector, specializing in design and development, with a strong presence in the Greek market is seeking a result-oriented and versatile, Automation Engineer in the department of automation and instrumentation studies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Technical specifications for field instruments and Control & Safety Systems for Refinery, Petrochemical, Storage and Transportation and / or Power Generation Facilities.
- Technical Evaluations of offers for equipment and systems handled by the department.
- Orders’ follow up (review and approval of Vendors’ technical documentation).
- Implementation of relevant American and international standards governing the equipment.
- Consulting services to clients regarding equipment handled by the Department.
- Participation in on-site surveys and measurements at the construction site.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) by the application submission deadline or upon commencement of employment.
- Proficient in written and spoken English (CAE or equivalent).
Desired Qualifications:
- Professional experience in Automation and Instrumentation studies for Basic and Detailed Design projects, for Refinery, Petrochemical, Storage and Transportation and/or Thermal Power Generation plants, will be considered as an asset.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Knowledge of AUTOCAD software.
