THE JOB ROLE
Lead the Fleet – Drive Performance – Deliver Excellence
The Yacht Maintenance Coordinator will lead and manage our maintenance operation at our Vounaki Beachclub in Paleros, Greece.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a capable and committed engineer who thrives on responsibility and wants to take ownership of a growing and evolving operation.
It’s a perfect role for someone from a strong all-round engineering background. Marine specific engineering experience is a bonus, but not essential. You must have the drive to push standards forward.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Leading a team of shore-based and flotilla engineers
Setting daily/weekly goals, following up on tasks, and creating a culture of accountability
Delivering a structured preventative maintenance programme across the fleet (Flotilla, Bareboat, Day Sail, and Training yachts)
Ensuring all yachts meet safety, mechanical, and presentation standards
Coaching and supporting your team while maintaining high performance expectations
Managing budgets, tracking spend, and reporting to the Yacht Manager
Building supplier relationships, resolving warranty issues, and sourcing parts cost-effectively
Maintaining full-service histories for each yacht and using this data to drive improvements
Overseeing health and safety in the yard, dock, and workshop
Coordinating with the Store Supervisor to maintain stock levels and reduce waste
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering (Marine experience preferred but not essential)
Previous team management or supervisory experience
Highly organised, assertive, and confident managing people and priorities
Familiarity with yacht systems and general maintenance routines – Desirable
Financial and operational awareness — budgeting, cost control, and documentation
A proactive mindset – Someone who looks ahead and takes initiative rather than waiting to be asked
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
Full driving licence
You must hold either an EU passport or valid Greek residency
