Established Yacht Refit company based in Perama is seeking office personnel for full time work.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will supervise, organize, monitor, and report on daily refit activities. This role involves liaising with subcontractors and Class surveyors, producing field service reports, and working closely with technicians and managers on various tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create detailed worklists of daily and upcoming tasks.
- Update the database daily with technicians’ schedules and work progress.
- Maintain project progress overview spreadsheets.
- Coordinate subcontractors and oversee their work.
- Communicate daily with the office and managers to report on progress and plan the next steps.
- Liaise with the vessel’s crew to address any technical issues that arise.
- Submit daily reports and a final project report upon the launch, sea trials, or commissioning.
- Prepare and issue Field Service Reports (FSR) and commissioning notes for completed and ongoing work, in collaboration with the management team.
- Ensure the proper handling and delivery of materials and equipment for yacht repairs.
Qualities and requirements:
- Highly motivated, adept, and capable of working under pressure.
- Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Essential qualifications/skills:
- A degree in naval architecture or marine engineering (BSc) will be considered as a plus but it is not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word & Excel).
- Professional fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus.
- Previous experience is not required but will be considered an advantage.
- A valid driver’s license for gear-driven cars is compulsory; a motorcycle license will be considered as a plus.
