Electrical & Electronic Superintendent Engineer

As a member of the team you will: ▪ Ensures the proper operation and provides technical support on electrical/pneumatic controlled equipment/systems, automation, navigation, and radio communication equipment, schedules corrective actions and prepares the annual budget. ▪ Inspects vessels as required and submit relevant reports. ▪ Attends vessel for troubleshooting, condition inspections and repairs during dry docking. ▪ Monitors the progress of electric/electronic and pneumatic equipment/systems’ work orders within electronic planned maintenance software (NSE) and implements related rectification actions and follow-up. ▪ In cooperation with Supt. Engineers and respective Heads, undertake necessary actions relating to services contracted to third parties for crediting Statutory certificates of Safety Radio and Safety Equipment annual/special surveys. ▪ Promotes safety and environmental excellence throughout the company. ▪ Automation/ Pneumatic components troubleshooting. Assists in the identification of optimum spare parts retaining policy and enhancement of Planned Maintenance jobs based on failure rate trends and latest industry standards and requirements.
